Reuse plastic bags
Specific tasks may require the reuse of a plastic bag
When you do get plastic bags from the store you can recycle them or use them again around the house. Reusing small bags can eliminate the need to purchase plastic garbage bags.
Great for garbage bags – If the bags have no holes in the bottom they make great garbage bags, garbage can liners, kitchen garbage bags, aluminum recycling bags and vehicle garbage bags.
Store them in empty paper towel rolls, empty square tissue boxes, empty plastic newspaper sacks.
Stash one or two in your desk, car or purse and use for emergency rain hats, goulashes or to carry boots or shoes. Larger, thicker bags can be stashed away for emergency carrying bags when shopping.
The bags can be used as protective packaging when moving or shipping or as loose, insulating material in vertical air shafts to reduce air flow inside your house.
