At first glance you might question the words noted in bold above. But after taking a minute to think about all the ways public transportation benefits its riders you'll find the statement is correct. "Freedom" from driving, "Access" is usually close enough to walk to, "Opportunity" to read, look out the window or even sleep and "Choice" to take a number of different types of travel - bus, train, people mover, mini-train to get to your destination.
