Be part of a farmer co-op
As a member or "share-holder" of the farm the CSA member pledges in advance to cover a portion of the anticipated costs of the farm operation. The member then receives produce as "shares" from the farm.The member also receives the satisfaction of reconnecting to the land and participating directly in food production. They also form a relationship with the farmer and take comfort in knowing the people who grow their food and continue to farmer-to-customer tradition.
