There are no limits to where you can garden. Although the backyard is the standard location for fruit and vegetable gardens but you might want to consider front yard vegetable gardens, school gardens and community or neighborhood gardens. Whether you grow flowers, fruits or vegetables it might be helpful to start small, think big, be creative and stay away from chemicals.
